Welcome to LiftedJoy. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, applications, and services. By using LiftedJoy, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LiftedJoy website, mobile app, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Please review this page periodically.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use our services.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or making a booking.

3. Services Description

LiftedJoy is a platform that connects customers with decoration vendors for events (e.g. weddings, birthdays, corporate events).
We facilitate booking, payment, and coordination. The actual decoration services are provided by third-party vendors. We are not the service provider for the decoration work itself.

4. Bookings and Payments

Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. You may be required to pay an advance or full amount as per the booking terms.
All payments are processed through secure payment gateways. Prices displayed are in INR unless otherwise stated and may be subject to applicable taxes.
You agree to pay all charges incurred in connection with your booking, including any cancellation or modification fees as per our Refund Policy.

5. Cancellation and Modifications

Cancellation and modification terms are set out in our Refund Policy. Please read them before confirming a booking.
Vendor-specific cancellation rules may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform, including: fraud, false information, harassment, or violation of any law.
You will not attempt to bypass security, scrape data, or use automated tools without our permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the LiftedJoy platform (logos, text, images, design) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiftedJoy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or services.
Our total liability for any claim related to the services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.
We are not liable for the acts, errors, or omissions of vendors. Your contract for decoration services is between you and the vendor, subject to our platform terms.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiftedJoy, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the services or breach of these terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, they may be subject to arbitration or the courts of Mumbai, India, as per applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
